D&D April 9th but still no period??

Hi ladies,

I have been gone a while trying to cope with losing my baby. I have been worried and wondering what is going on with my body, along with the threads I am reading our bodies are playing jokes on us, sad to say but true.

I lost my little on on April 8th and had a D&C on April 9th, two weeks later I spotted very lightly, but the blood was a dark red color only spotted, then it went away and I have had no spotting nor bleeding and no sign of AF. I took a pregnancy test a week after the spotting which came out negative and have not since then.

When does your period come back?? Can you get pregnant two weeks after D&C?

Please help.

Hey hun,

i had a d&c on the 8th April and still havent had a period either... you can get pregnant yes but your period can also take longer after a d&c.

i thought i was pregnant and got my hopes up but have done several tests and they are all i guess our cycles are being slow at sorting themselves out

Sorry for your loss!

To be honest, I would do another test as you are highly fertile after a DnC. When I had one last July I bleed for about 13 days then my period came about the 6 week mark.
