For context, I have regular 29-day cycles. My period is almost A MONTH late and i wanted to share my journey with everyone on here. I've gotten blood work + ultrasound done, peed on too many sticks and just went to see the fertility doctor yesterday. I've been TTC for 3 cycles:
First cycle: Miscarriage,
Second cycle: chemical
Third cycle: present day - no period, inconclusive test results.
LMP: 8 July
8 Aug: faint positive
9 Aug: AM faint positive, PM BFN, did blood tests which came back negative
11 Aug: faint positive
12 Aug: AM: BFN, PM: faint positive
13 Aug: PM - faint positive
14 Aug: bfn
15 Aug: did ultrasound: results came back normal
16 Aug: faint positive
17 Aug: bfn
18 Aug: bfn, went to fertlility doctor who suggested that:
1. I was getting false positives
2. I was testing too early (almost 2 weeks late though?!?!?)
3. My cycles have become irregular since the first miscarriage (hcg went down from 15 to <5 within a day of the miscarriage - got bloods 24 hours apart to confirm, the following cycle also returned to normal)
4. Other organs in my body are secreting hcg
22 Aug: got a whole heap of blood tests done to try and identify underlying causes for no period and inconclusive pee sticks. Will post results here once I get them!
23 Aug: Blood tests came back: Don't have cancer and not pregnant
24 Aug: Faint positive (again!)
26 Aug: BFN
Today I am CD 53. Felt nauseous all weekend, dizzy spells, back pain. Seeing the fertility doctor in a few days - will let you all know what he says. Will be almost a month late by then.
1 Sept Update: still nothing. Going in to see my OB tomorrow - will keep you all posted on what he says!
Will be posting daily/ weekly updates on this mystery month all the way until I either get a confirmed positive or my period... In the mean time, thoughts? Has anyone experienced anything similar to this?
