Day 21 bloods help?

I went for day 21 bloods in June and rang the doctors for results. The receptionist told me all was fine but i went to docs today and he told me they weren't. My progesterone level was 21.2, okay so my doctor then told me that...

Less than 5 is annovulatory cycle
More than 25 is confirmed ovulation.

So mine was in a bit of a grey area, the thing is I went for my day 21 bloods on day 22 but I told the nurse this and she said it would be fine. Could this be the reason my progesterone was a little low?
Or what else would make them low? My doctor didn't tell me anything, just that she was referring me to the hospital fertility specialists as soon as DH's SA is back.

Do you know which day you o'd? The day 21 thing is assuming you o on cd14 and therefore your progesterone peaks on day21. So depending on when you ov'd your level could still be rising or declining.

Yeah i suspect i ov on day 14/15 going by OPK's and symptoms, so i most likely went for my day 21 bloods on day 21 or 22 xx
