Day 21 Bloodwork- Confused?

My doctor said to come in to check progesterone level on day 21. FF is saying I ovulated on cycle day 12. I got a positive opk on cycle day 12 and 13. So should I go with FF (first time charting and using FF) or stick with going to doc on cycle day 21- which would be 9dpo if FF is correct. I have heard that you do a progesterone level check 7dpo. Will 9dpo still be accurate?

Any advice is greatly appreciated

doctors say that because they go by text book cycles of 28 days. i would definatly go at 7dpo or as near as you can for a more accurate result. got to go for mine tomorrow and that is as near to 7dpo i can get. hope that helps hun and gl

This is not correct - it's 7 days after ovulation, which may be anything from 3 - 13 days from the end of a cycle.

Hopefulchik - go CD19 or 20. If they ask you if it's day 21 - say yes!
