Well, it was going great and his little face when he saw Thomas was a picture - until Thomas really loudly blew his whistle which terrified him - screaming hysterical tears and he wouldn't go near a train again! So we didn't get a ride after all, but he had fun playing with the Thomas toys and colouring in. Just one of those things I guess.... I'd recommend it though, although maybe next time I'd take ear defenders or something..
Sorry sweetheartAwwwww I'm sorry that happened,we went today too,and thought it was good value for money, but yes they did blow off steam and whistles which did frighten quite a few children I noticed so you weren't alone!Well, it was going great and his little face when he saw Thomas was a picture - until Thomas really loudly blew his whistle which terrified him - screaming hysterical tears and he wouldn't go near a train again! It was lovely, and if we had been able to go on a train it would have been brilliant. He loved it until then, he was so excited when Thomas came out and then when Thomas pushed the big train out he loved it. We didn't go on the first train rides, we thought we would let him familiarise himself with everything first, and then Thomas peeped really loudly!! He says now that he liked to see the trains but that Thomas was naughty and too loud! At least he enjoyed some of it, his face when he saw Thomas was priceless, so I don't mind too much that we spent all that money for no train ride! x
