HOw long does it take? I am storing 5oz bottles ready for leaving her for the morning a week on saturday - when should I get them out? I read you should let it thaw thoroughly in the fridge before heating....

I take mine out of the freezer the day before and put them in the fridge. I read somewhere that it thaws out quickly but mine seems to take ages even at room temp, so if you get them out the morning before I'd check them that evening to make sure they're not completely frozen still x

The instructions on my Breast milk bags says to defrost it overnight. This works fine for the bags - don't know if it takes a little longer with bottles.

Thanks Kat - does it say over night in the fridge?

Yes it does. I put mine in the fridge door and that seems to defrost it quickly enough. (Apparantly it's slightly warmer in the door.)

My bottles and storage cups take much longer than the bags to defrost (less surface area to volume)
