+++ December 2019 testing thread +++

@Pineberry I'm due for af either Tuesday or Wednesday, so I’ll test Thursday if she doesn’t show (and if I can hold out). I was thinking I’d take some allergy medication tonight before bed to rule out allergic reaction as the cause, and I’ve made an appointment with my GP to get it checked out next week.

A good friend of mine just started ttc in October and has just told me she’s 8 weeks pregnant. I’m over the moon excited for her and I’m really hoping we can go through our pregnancies and maternity leaves together. I just can’t believe they got pregnant their first month trying and here we are 6 months later. Especially because, like @Pineberry said, dh and I live such healthy lifestyles.

I hear you hun..... we live healthily and 16 cycles in :(

Well, I just went to the toilet and when I wiped I saw pink tinged cm. I’m only 11 dpo, so part of me is like ‘implantation?!’ But deep down I know it’s just af coming in early for some reason. :nope:

I think I might try doing some OPKs next cycle. Maybe we’re completely missing my fertile window? This month I had o cramping on cd 14 and we managed to have sex cd 13, 14, and 15. But maybe my cramping is after o and we missed it?

I’m trying so hard not to spill the beans to DH. I want the digital confirmation before I tell him

@USAFWife319 I see it! Fx for it getting darker for you!

@Lunabelle that is really strange, maybe it just wasn't strong enough in the second test since it's used it all in the 1st, fx for your next test!

@TWO2TANGO fx for implantation bleeding! Like you I'd be thinking early AF but only because I do tend to start AF like that, however my implantation bleeding with DS was around that point and just pink when wiped, so it's certainly possible!

The TTW is so long and how do you keep yourself distracted. I'm going to watch some one born every minute. I used to watch those type of shows before I had even met my husband. This is taking up so much space in my head!! We have a vacation booked but my head is all baby baby baby. :crib:

I’m the same way! We’ve been looking at houses to purchase and we have a contract on one now. I’m still focused on baby and wanting to test 24/7

It's really hard to get tww out of your head! I'm not testing until af is way late, so still about two weeks to go. Currently 6dpo. I actually booked a weekend away so if af shows I still have something fun to look forward to. FX for us!

Well, woke up at 5:30 am with cramping and af has showed up in full force.

I was actually feeling hopeful for this month and now she shows up 3 days early. On to cycle 7.

I’ll have to start researching opks. I’d say both of us have higher sex drives, so I didn’t think we’d be missing my fertile window if we just did it when we felt like it. Based on my ovulation cramping we’ve always managed to do it at the right time without planning sex, but maybe my ovulation predictions are off.

I’m debating when to see a doctor. I know they say wait 1 year, but I also know I have a small uterine septum, so maybe it’s worth seeking help early.

Teafor2 - if you think it's worth seeing a doctor, don't wait. We waited so long before we saw a doctor and I truly, truly regret that. Money was the main barrier, but I'm really sad about how much time we lost making excuses for not seeing a doctor. Also, seeing the right kind of doctor is key. Ob/gyn's don't really know much (surprisingly) about fertility issues/ concerns to the point that specialists do. Book a specialist. There's usually a waiting list so do it now and then you can plan for any unexpected expenses.

Salamander - I see that, and I've NEVER gotten an indent/ evap like that on a FRER and not been pregnant. Out of all of the tests I use (ICs, store bought, etc.), I always test them against FRERs because if the FRER is negative, then I think the other tests are false. That being said, some of my ICs are more sensitive than FRERs so I wait a day or two and confirm with FRER. At any rate, I see color in your photo and that doesn't even look that faint. Congrats!!!

Thanks ladies :) my ic's are completely blank but they're really thin ones and I hate them lol I have more frer coming tomorrow
