I posted a few days ago about ideas for telling my mum the sex if we find out on our 20 week scan on the 24th, as my mum may have to go into hospital.

Well, she phoned me this evening to tell me that she is going in tomorrow, for 2 weeks. Im a bit upset, but it is for the best.

Anyway, I have decided on the idea.

Make muffins on the 23rd, got to my scan at 8.30am, come home, cover with melted white chocolate, go off to doc's for a blood test, then come home and write on top, with writing icing, 'It's a boy' or 'It's a girl' in either pink or blue icing, then go off an see mum.

Hopefully I can get a picture for her too, so that will be attatched too.

Im just pleased I have growth scans in October and November, so that she can come along to them instead of the 20week one now.

Just wanted to share.

Oh, and I've felt baby kick a bit tonight, which is always something to smile about.

Awww for you and your mummy that’s a really good idea and she will deffo love it I would free muffins as well just the get well soon cure along with the news of her grandbaby

You’re so lucky my next scans not until the 8th of November at 34weeks I can’t wait to see if your having a little baby

We will be having scans very close to each other then. Seems to weird to say 34weeks! It will go so fast too.

Im pleased I could feel baby, as I didnt think I would, as im fat.

Oh be good to see your bump now, it must be real exciting knowing the sex so you can go buy boy stuff. Oh I cant wait to see what he looks like!!

Its exciting to see if your right. I can never tell by my scan pics. I dont there is a nub there. lol.
