Declaring Maternity Allowance For Tax Credits

Just to let you know I was advised that none of the Maternity Allowance is declared as it is classed as a benefit.

Thought this might help some people.

Yes they take £100 off your annual income for every week you receive SMP

yup for smp but for MA they disregard the whole £123 as its a non taxable benefit
