Decreasing Sperm Count after every test - any ideas please?

After 3.5 years TTC, 6 months clomid and 2 failed ICSI we've finally got all DH sperm analysis results and its appears to be dropping all the time!

Feb 2010 - 13.8m
March 2010 - 26m
Nov 2011 - 7m
March 2012 - 2.8m
Sept 2012 (IVF 2 - too poor to record)
Jan 2013 - 1.7m

Motility pretty crappy, varies between 12% and 1% motile.

Dr has no explanations for this as DH has had no operations or illnesses.

Has anyone had this happen to their man? any ideas why or what we could try? DH is 42, doesn't drink, smoke, normal BMI, pretty healthy, takes the best vitamins, chinese teas...

Would really appreciate some thoughts on this.

Also, the IVfs didn't go well...
IVF1 - 13 eggs, 12 fert by day 5 - 2 8 cells (where they should have been on day 3!)
IVF2 - 21 eggs, 16 fert, by day 5 1 moruella.
Each time the embies stop growing, Dr thinks it's bad sperm but also working on egg quality for next cycle. If the same happens again its on to donor sperm, so if there's anything else we can find out first...

Hi!
Has your DH had his hormones tested recently? This happened to my DH and it turned out he had high Estrogen. His estrogen\testosterone ratio was off. The Specialist he saw prescribed some drug used for breast cancer...he didn't end up taking it as it was super expensive. His counts have gone back up and hormones are normal again. Mind his counts are not super high but within normal limits now. Hope you get to the bottom of what's going on!

I don't think they've ever checked his hormones. Told DH about this and he was very interested, have phoned the clinic today to ask but am waiting a call back.

I half hope they they have checked as we're due for our next IVF end of May and I don't want it held up though sensibly if this can be sorted it should be.
