Hi ladies,

I have degeneration of my pubic synthesis. I'd like to hear from anyone who suffers the same.
The ligament between my two pelvic bones is almost non existent.
It started almost 3 years ago after the birth of my toddler, anytime I had my legs parted I'd be in agony. Sitting with my legs crossed, sitting on my legs, having sex etc. 5 specialist later, a cortisone injection in my hip and October last year I had a ultrasound done (no x-ray due to being 8 weeks pregnant) and they found I have degeneration.
They told me by 30 weeks pregnant I would be in a wheel chair, I wasn't but did have a walking frame and crutches. I was scheduled to have bubs by elective C-section at 38+4 due to my pelvis, my othopedic surgeon and the obstetrics didn't recommend natural. I was taken I'm 2 day early due to bloods deteriorating.
I'd be in agony at the end of each night and could barely walk, I tried physio but that just left me in more pain.
Since giving birth I have lost 15kg (7 of which was baby weight) I have tried exercising but that leaves me in pain, walking, sex, all leave me in pain.
My othopedic surgeon suggested a cortisone injection in my pelvis, oh my that hurt so much and didn't help. He's suggested surgery to have my pelvis pinned together but he advised me it's a very big surgery and he will not do it until we know if we'll have another baby or not.
I would love a third baby but all my family and friends have asked us not to, even my gp as we don't know what toll it'll take on my pelvis.
If someone was to tell it's likely I'll struggle to walk or it could leave permanent damage I won't take that risk. My health is important for my two girls.

Its making life difficult  I can't enjoy sex at all, I want to exercise, take my girls on longs walk.

I'd like a second opinion but really don't know where to turn. Would like to hear from someone who has gone through this and can give me advise and just have someone to talk to who can relate.

Thank you :flower:
