Delayed Ovulation? No temp rise

Hi ladies, I have a question and I'm hoping someone here can help me. I'm on my first pp cycle after my daughter was stillborn in Feb, I'm on CD21 today. I had to have a d&c a few weeks ago for a small bit of retained placenta. My first pp AF was confirmed by my OB so at least I've had a period, but I digress.

Before my pregnancy I had pretty regular cycles with ovulation on CD13 or 14, verified with bbt, I always had a pretty clear temp rise. I've been reading that delayed Ovulation is sometimes normal after a loss or even after a live birth the first pp cycle.

I've been tracking bbt and using wondfo opks for the first time this cycle because I know things can be wacky after giving birth. Anyway I got my first positive opk this last Thursday around 430pm (CD18) and another positive Friday morning (CD19) at 5am. Im trying to add my chart from fertility friend, I have a link here so hopefully it works!

I thought I may have ovulated Friday or been gearing up for it due to some sharp pain in my right ovary and ewcm but yesterday I had watery cm and it seems like I have some today still. My opks have been negative since Friday afternoon and I take my bbt at the same time every day.

Obviously without a temp rise, ovulation hasn't occurred - correct? Or could it just be slow to rise for some reason now? I didn't sleep well Friday night (thus the open circle) so I thought I may have just missed the rise but it was low still this morning and i slept pretty well last night so I have no idea what's happening- all signs point to ovulation except the one that shows it actually happened. Does anyone have any idea of what could be happening? I can't find anything in TCOYF for cycles specifically after birth apart from the things returning concerning breastfeeding etc which I'm obviously not doing.

Thank you!

Hi bunny,

First off, I want to say I'm so very sorry for ur loss. Its heartbreaking. I gave birth to my son in November, but he passed away within the hr after labor. He is my first n only baby.

I was told by a nurse practitioner that my fertility wouldn't return for a couple of months. But everyone is different. Sorry I don't have any detailed info for u.
