I've never transitioned to switch. If one is making them sick why would you want to keep giving it to them? We switched mine to AR and they did fine.

You only need to give gradually if they're a different "family" of formulas. (switching from milk-based ot soy-based, for example) The ingredients for NB and AR look similar enough that it shouldn't cause a huge problem to switch.

I agree with just switching- when we tried mixing them int he same bottle, my LO would NOT touch it.
