desperately seeking advice

I am now 2 weeks late. Well in four hours time I will be. I have no idea what's going on, I've had 3 BFNs and I'm just feeling lost and hopeless. I've wanted a baby for so long, and now not even starting my next cycle I'm just overwhelmed with a lot of emotions, like wanting to cry a lot. What would you girls do, go to the dr? Am I supposed to wait longer before going? I didn't track my temp and didn't use any OPKs so I'm really in the dark, and I learned my lesson, I'm ordering OPKs as soon as SO gets his check tomorrow. In desperate need of some friends and advice. Hope to hear from you ladies soon.

Sorry to hear you feel so lost and hopeless. Two cycles ago (November 2014 - January 2015), I was two weeks late - AF was supposed to show in December but never made an appearance. My cycles were usually 28 - 30 days long but that one was 41 days. Last cycle was 35 days and this one looks to be the same (AF is supposed to arrive today/tomorrow). Doctor told me that I just ovulated later in that 41 day cycle and it is nothing to worry about - after that I started temping so that I can see when I O.

I think it is probably because I'm getting older that my cycles are now lengthening a bit (I'm turning 31). Hopefully they stabilize now at 35 days because this I can handle, not so sure about a 41 day cycle

Thank you for replying! I'm pretty sure AF is on her way now, there was very light brown this morning. So disheartening, and such a cruel thing for our bodies to do, especially when TTC, and on the first month back on track for my SO and I. I'm getting the OPKs for sure, and I'll try to stay upbeat about the next cycle, but this one has drained me. I can't wait for the end result though, someday...

Just an update in case anyone ever looks at this thread. NOT pregnant. AF showed up after 15 days late... Cruel joke. Looking at OPK options now. Baby dust to all, and I hope we all get a BFP soon!!!
