Desperately Seeking Employment!

Yip yippedy yip! I have a job and I started on Thursday just gone (been very busy as only had a week to get everything sorted!)...I actually got offered 2 other jobs and had to turn them down (silly lol ). I'm now a fully fledged Aviva call centre bod! lol

Now that I have a job I'm looking at options including retraining as a teaching assistant. I'm never happy am I lol.

Congrats on the job hun They always come in droves don't they. When do you start?

I've got 'induction' on Monday and my work days are Tuesdays, Thirsdays, Fridays and Saturdays, so they will probably have me start the Tuesday??

Although I've got a training course for some volunteer work on teh Saturday and been told I have to attend 100% or I won't get the volunter role (I've explained my situationto them). . . just hoping work will accept that it was something that was arranged before I got the job. . but it'll be my first week and only third shift

Not really sure what to do there because I obviouslty need the job and right now it is more important but then I need the volunter experiences for my career whereas Next is just a job. Ohh nice essay for you there May have to make a seperate thread and see what people think to the situation!!

Yeah it does com in droves!!! I got the Boots job ss well but couldn't work the hours together as they bnoth wanted me in on a Saturday, felt really weird turning a job down after all those months of wanting one so badly lol

I've been looking for a part time job that fits with family and it seems they don't exist anymore

I was offered a job a few months ago in a call centre but they still haven't given me a start date!!!
