Diabetes

My 3 year old son has just been diagnosed. I feel broken. He already has hemiplegia (mild cerebral palsy) after a stroke. He deals with so much, as does the whole family. I am so sad and scared for him. Can anyone relate?

Violet has Doose Syndrome which is a type of epilepsy that put her in the hospital in April. It can be resistant to medications (hers is luckily controlled) and the prognosis and progression is unpredictable. So, we don't have diabetes, CP or stroke, but we have gone on a scary medical journey.
