Diaper Cakes

On November 14th I hosted my cousin's baby shower. I made her a diaper cake. It's the 3rd one I've ever made. We had a great time. I did it at a restaurant and everyone was on their own tab, we all had fun playing games and talking and of course eating! I ordered her a cake and that was it! This is her second baby, she has a 20 month old daughter already but this one is a boy.

Anyway, here is the diaper cake I made for her:

Anyway... I always use Pampers Swaddlers diapers for them. As I was putting together the last one I couldn't help but stop and smell the diapers (literally) LOL! They smell so ... precious and it reminds me of when my boys used to wear those diapers right after they were born and when they were really tiny and it made me tear up! ::SIGH::

They are absolutley gorgeous! We were made one when Max arrived and they really are such fun, special gifts Yours look really well made, you're very talented!!

And I know exactly what u mean, I picked up a pack of new baby nappies whilst shopping the other day and had a little thought back to when Max was small enough to wear them xx

Thanks everyone. The first one took me about 6 ours (the pink one) the second one (green and blue) took me almost TWO days as I couldn't figure out how to get the diapers to go and I like to figure things out on my own. The 3rd one (sports one) took me about 2.5 hours.

I'm also going to do one for my friend who's shower I'm throwing in mid-January, they are so much fun to make!!
