sorry if the wrong place. But I just wondered if any of you had any bleeding during your pregnancy which you thought could be a miscarriage but baby was fine?

I've been having light bleeding all day, been to EPU and had some swaps, cervix is still closed. But they can't rule out a miscarriage just yet. I have a scan Tuesday to see how things are.

Please be honest with me about any bleeding you had, even if any of it was bad news x

Yes - a few times till 13 weeks this past pregnancy. BUT also with my miscarriages, including a MMC. So it could go either way.

Did you have any pains with either of them? And was the bleeding the same.. Was it same colour, was the heaviness the same?

I've had it both ways too. First time I had a miscarriage and second time my baby was absolutely fine (he's 9 months old now). The bleeding was caused by a sub-chorionic hematoma. Honestly, you won't know till you have a scan. I hope Tuesday comes quickly for you. Rest til then

Xx

With munchkin I had bleeding right up until 1 day before 11 weeks. Bright red sometimes. Sometimes heavier.

With my mmc at 10 weeks I never had any more than brown spotting. Actually, other than my chemical, which was just like a regular period, I only ever had a bit of spotting. With my mmc at 17 weeks I had one tiny pink spot once before my d&c almost a week later.

I really hope everything is well with your little beanie.

I had a heavy bleed at 12 weeks and was told I was having a miscarriage. It turned out that my bleeding was caused by a subchorionic hematoma, which I had until I was around 28 weeks of pregnancy. I carried my baby until 37 weeks and my little boy is now 8 weeks old.

Yes. The whole time I was pregnant I bled. He was born perfect at 39 weeks!

I had bright red spotting a few weeks before my MMC. With my DS, I had brownish spotting at 9 weeks but it was caused by a sch. No pains with either.

I've had bleeding in 3 out of my 4 pregnancies - 2 ended in miscarriage, but the 3rd was born healthy and well. I was convinced I was going to miscarry as the bleeding was significant, up to 14 weeks-ish, and it was very like the previous miscarriage, but she was fine.

Sorry you're going through this I know how stressful it is.
1st pregnsncy- started spotting at 9 weeks and it got a lot heavier had a few scans at epu. None positive and miscarried sadly.

2nd pregnsncy no bleeding healthy toddler

3rd pregnancy. I bled at 4-6 weeks and then at 8 weeks, 10 weeks I think around 12-14 and last time at 17 weeks. None after that. Here I am snuggling my nearly 4 week old son! He was trouble since day one ;)

Hope all goes well for you x

Did you have any pain with either of the ones you bled in? And how much blood? Sorry if it's personal question. But I need to know, I've been wearing panty liners and 1 would cover me all day. Obviously I change it more for hygiene reasons though

No pain with either the healthy pregnancy or the miscarriages, except for a few hours in the run up to one of the miscarriages (the other miscarriage was painless). Bit more bleeding than you are describing. Are you having pain / cramping ?

I know it's hard to do, but you'll just have to wait and see hun. It could be the start of a miscarriage, yes, but lots of women bleed and don't miscarry. So try and stay as positive as you can. Keeping my fingers crossed for you! :hugs:

I'm sorry you're going through this. I hope it's good news for you.

With my pregnancy with dd I bled on and off for 10 weeks from 6 weeks till 16 weeks. It was a subchrionic hemorrhage. I'd bleed for 3 days every time. First day would be heavy then it would be lighter and darker. I cramped a lot during the pregnancy even when I wasn't bleeding.

In my pregnancy with ds I had brown discharge for a few days around the time of my missed period (I'd tested positive a few days early). I assumed it was an implantation bleed. cramped a lot this pregnancy too.

Sorry your going through this I'm really hoping you get good news. I bled with my first three pregnancies. The first and third I went on to have babies my second was a mmc. I had cramps and pains with my healthy babies but nothing with my miscarriage. Fingers crossed for you x x

I had bleeding in both pregnancies.

Both times I had spotting and light bleeding around 6 to 8 weeks on and off.

With my second I also had light bleeding at 11 weeks and a heavy bleed at 17 weeks (the latter due to placenta previa). Both babies made it to full term.
