Hi, I recently had a MMC at 8w2d and am now ttc again, I am on cycle 3 and as my af has been gradually coming back no normal I thought could I try pregnancare conception to help so was wondering is this a waste of money and should I continue with their folic acid or has it really helped people?? to you all xx

It won't get you pregnant! It is a good source of folic acid and vitamins so will improve your general health ready for conception. It is quite pricey though so you could just stay on the regular folic acid pills which is all you really need. Alternatively, Boots sell a Conception Support vitamin which is much cheaper than Pregnacare and has the same stuff in it.

Sorry about your miscarriage and hope you get your bfp again soon. I found cheapo ovulation tests were the thing that helped me most, as well as obviously lots of sex.

Thanks for this I did wonder as it says it increases cm
Etc so should help but didn't know if it was a gimmic?

Haven't heard of ye boots one so will definitely check that out.

Where did you he your ov sticks I haven't used them as I worry I'll stress to mch but guess every little helps xx

you can get good ov tests from ebay very cheap! The ones in highstreet and superstores are so expensive!!

I got about 100 for £10 I think it was! Start using them about 12 days after the start of your period until you get a strong postive line and start having sex like crazy around this time!!!

Carry on taking your folic acid, but as long as you're eating a healthy and varied diet- you shouldn't need all the extra vits! x

Ovulation test strips are available very very cheaply online from Ebay, Amazon and the Home Health website. Obviously it's important to have sex plenty anyway and not wait for a positive ovulation test result, but they do help you keep track of your cycle and make sure you have sex on the most important day.

I used Pregnacare Conception for a while before I got fed up paying so much and I never noticed any increase in CM, so I'm not sure if that is true. If you have trouble with dryness you could always try some Conceive Plus lubricant from Boots?

I think they helped me a little, i got my BFP after 2 months of trying to but i actually began to take pregnacare 3 months before we started trying. i had a misscarriage in march this year at 6 weeks, so when my body got back to normal i thought id give them a go as it made me feel better about myself.

good luck!!

i was ttc after miscarriage in july i started pregnacare conception the 3rd cycle and got my bfp xxx

good luck :dust::dust::dust::dust::dust:

After my 2 m/c I took pregnacare conception, i also used ovulation strips, but didnt put too much pressure on myself and I got my BFP. I am still taking Pregnacare throughout my pregnancy. Good Luck x

Got my bfp 2nd cycle trying and was taking pregnacare for the second cycle, so worked for me! And I was classed as infertile!!

It took us over 4 years to get our first bfp - Sadly we lost our baby girl in August this year at 19 weeks. We decided to ttc asap. At the end of october I started taking Pregnacare conception and 6 weeks later I was pregnant...Im pretty sure they helped as I thought we were in for the long haul again. Good luck xx

I personally just took folic acid and vitamin supplements, but my hubby and I got our BFP after 20 months TTC and he had started taking the wellman conception tablets a month or so before so I don't know if that was why? (I'd also had a HSG the month before so it could have been that too).

I was ttc for 4 months, no joy. Then I took pregnacare conception and hubby took the wellman conception version & we got a bfp the first month of taking. That ended in mc but we continued taking it, and just got another bfp! So took it for 3 months in total, & 2 BFP's. I found it increased my cm, and I had a 10-12 day lp, so took it as hoped the vit b6 would increase my luteal phase. So I'd recommend it. Good luck.
