Did anybody play music to thier bump? Does your child react

I played a musical toy on my bump from 20 weeks. Ever since birth the same music makes him cry. He gets really upset still and he is two! Not sure whether to bother this time.

Anyone try this?

I find that the songs I sang to my bump are the ones which calm her best now! Although when I tried singing them just after she was born, I was the one crying my way through the songs Darn hormones

Caitlyn still settles straight away to "hush little baby" which I sang to her when she was in my belly

yeh i did relaxation everyday twice a day nr the end if we put it on now he goes staright to sleep x

i listened to my beachboys album alot when i was pregnant. when my son was a baby he would go to sleep in my arms whenever i played it.

I was wondering this as well as was contemplating playing some music to my bump this time round! They say classical music is good for them to hear but not really my cup of tea! lol

With my DD I continually played and sang Morningtown Ride to her when I was pregnant, and now even at 14 she still feels all calm and safe when she hears it.
With Caidan, I chose a song called The Unicorn, and played it and sang it to my bump all the time.
He hadnt really heard it again until last week, when my DH played it on the PC, and as soon as Caidan heard it, he stopped what he was doing and crawled over to me, put his arms up and gave me the biggest kiss and cuddle you could imagine and cuddled in to me for the whole song. My DH and DD couldn't believe his reaction, and it brought a tear to my eye!!!

I say do it again this time round.

Awwwww see why don't I get a reaction like that??? He acts like I M hurting him. Maybe it is because it is a musical toy. I will try a song this time! Thank you

Emma is a huge Beatles fan now after I played my Beatles One album so much during my pregnancy. It's the only thing that calms her down in the car.

Josh is a HUGE Foo Fighters fan... We went to their concert when I was 36 weeks pregnant and he was going nuts in my belly, still now he goes completely crazy when he hears them! He jumps, shakes his head and sings!
