My LO is in NICU but will be coming home soon and I'm so paranoid about the fact she will no longer be hooked up to any machines that will indicate if she has stopped breathing. I asked in mothercare and they said there is no such thing that can be used in a moses basket but I'm sure I've heard of people doing so. Can anybody recommend one? thankyou x

yeah we used ours in the moses basket and it says you can in the instruction leaflet. Its an Anglecare i got it after a thread i put on here asking for recommendations and it got lots of recommendations! :)

I used Angelcare monitors in moses baskets with both of mine and they worked just fine!

I used the angel care in the bassinet part of the pack n play and it worked well for the first couple weeks when he left the NICU, for the same reason as you... until we started to co sleep, I would assume it would have worked much better in the bassinet that we had because it had a wooden board under the mattress already, but we never use the bassinet due to other reasons.. I have heard of many people using them ( Angelcare monitor) in the bassinet though, but I have also heard of a another type of breathing monitor that actually attaches to the baby's diaper, snuza is one I believe?

Ps. I'm pretty sure moses basket & bassinet are the same thing just different countries use different terms?

Yep we used our angelcare in the Moses from day 1 no problems. We've only had false alarms recently as LO like to squish up in the corner and it can't pick her up!

yeah we used ours in the moses basket. Really helped settle me x

I've been using the Tommee Tippee one in the moses basket since LO was born with no problems.

Our Angelcare worked fine in the moses basket. We did have to make a small hole in the fabric to thread the wire through, but we never had a false alarm. It also works well in the travel cot too.

Angelcare in basket here too :)

Best thing ever... I can sleep and not wake up every 5 mins to check him breathing lol :)

I was the same, that little machine was my god send until she came out of NICU.

We have the tommy teepee one and used it in the Moses basket,we had to put a small hole in the material for the wire but it worked great.

We had a tommee tippee one with ds1 and it worked fine in moses basket, keep meaning to put it on for ds2 but never get round to it, plus when he was newborn he was always feeding so I didn't have chance to worry!

We used the angelcare in the Moses basket as well. Meant I didn't have to stay up all night watching him to see if he was breathing, lol!
