Did I catch a surge?

Hi all,

I've been lurking since TTC#2, but figured I would post now because I need help!

I have been testing afternoon and evening for ovulation since CD 11 (I have very irregular periods), and I can't tell if I caught a surge last night (or before/after it) or nothing at all.

It's the darkest line I have gotten since testing, but still isn't a darker or as dark as the control line.

Today is light again. I don't have any other signs of ovulation that I've noticed (like cervical mucus changes), and I feel like it's getting late to be ovulating.

Any insight is appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!

I cannot see a distinctive positive, cd 17 looks promising but the 2nd line doesn't look as dark or darker than the control line so I'm not really sure you did get a surge. Sorry this is my first month using opks so I'm not very clued up yet...hopefully someone else who knows more will be able to help. xx

none of them are positive hun.

it is only positive if the test line is as dark, or darker than the control line. your levels of LH fluctuate all the time which is why you get different lightnesses.

Thanks, ladies. I have been testing twice a day, and still haven't had a positive!

I noticed some ewcm yesterday, so hopefully that means I will be o'ing soon. Frustration has set in, because I work this entire weekend and wanted to get my positive beforehand. (cant test at work!)

Boo :(

Ok, is THIS a positive?

I just took it...

It's almost as dark, but a teeny, tiny bit lighter!!!
