did i ovulate?

Just wondering ladies... I usually have two days of good strong positives, usually darker than the control line.
So yesterday evening I had a very nearly positive but not quite, then this morning I had a really good positive which is CD14 and came exactly when I expected it too. Just done my evening test (will post a pik of it) and it's negative I think. Is it ok for your surge to last less than a full day or did I not ovualate....?

For me, when I actually did get a positive OPK in the past, it only showed up on my AM tests, and was gone by the PM. So I would take it as it caught the surge, and do the BD since you'll more than likely be ovulating tomorrow!

That first pic looks like it's positive to me, or very close. Maybe test tomorrow morning just incase?
