Hi moms!

Just wanted to stop by and ask you if this gender theory prediction worked for you in past pregnancies or in your present pregnancy. My best friend is the one who told me this theory and she swears by it. It worked for me with my daughter but this time we are staying team yellow!

Ok so here it goes:

If the month you CONCEIVED in and your age that you were during conception are added together and they equal an odd number the baby is a boy and if the two added together equals an even number, the baby is a girl!

So for example, I conceived in March and I was 25, so that equals an even number: 28. So the theory would predict this baby is a girl!

Awesome! Is this #1 for you? I am ok either way with whatever we have! I am partial to another girl because we already have everything! I feel very confident that this baby is a girl so I would be very surprised if I had a boy!

Doesn't work for me.. Last period was end of February so I conceived in March, at the age of 29. So that makes 32. And I'm having another boy!

Technically you conceive on the first day of your last period so it worked for you too :o no this is my number 4 <3

Didn't work for my first pregnancy, and not sure yet for this one.

Based on that, should be a girl. We are having a boy :)

Well with this, my first pregnancy I was 26 and conceived in July.. Sooo That would be 33 - boy. But I had a girl.
This time it's April and 28 making 32 - Which would be girl. Will have to let you know in 4 weeks if that is correct.

I conceived in January, am 33, so total 34 and I'm having a boy, so doesn't work for me.

Thanks for the feed back ladies! How many of you just felt that your baby was a certain gender and your intuition was correct?

Conceived in February and I was 31 and we're having a girl.

Everywhere I read it said the other way around, odd is girl and even is boy :)

I just knew this was another boy, from the start. I occasionally and very briefly considered that it may be a girl, but it always came back to 'no it's definitely a boy'. I didn't even look at girls clothing or anything when I was window shopping.
Pregnancy completely different to my twin boys so it wasn't down to having the 'same symptoms' or anything like that, I just knew!

Worked both times for me. Conceived DD in March and was 21 so equals 24. This time I conceived again in March at 23 which equals 26 and this baby is also a girl. So worked for both x

Technically, you conceive on the day you conceive which is NOT the first day of your last period.:haha:

Predicted a boy this time. 29 at conception and conceived in the merry month of April. I have this gut feeling it's a boy, so we will see.

My second baby was conceived in June and I was 27, so that predicts boy, and she is very much a girl.

My first was conceived in July and I was 23, so predicted girl, and he is a big strapping boy.

So neither time did it work for me, unless this go it does!

I conceived in May, and I'm 20. So that'd be 25 - boy! I shall let you know :)

Even number both times, so was right the first time and wrong this time. Unless we get a surprise at the next ultrasound lol.

Nope, I was predicted to have a 3rd girl, but I definitely have a boy in there!!! And ditto on the conceiving being technically on the first day of your last period lol! That is not true, they might use it for dating but you don't conceive then ;)

I kept feeling like "it's probably going to be another girl" however deep down I felt like it was a boy, the night before my gender scan my husband and I talked about what we thought it would be, he thought it was a girl, but I told him I couldn't shake the feeling that I thought it was a boy ;)

Conceived in Feb, I was 23. (25) It is a boy!

I felt like it was a boy from the first week we knew we were pregnant, just because it's been the complete opposite of my pregnancy with our DD.
