Unfortunately (or fortunately in your case) ovulation doesn't always happen mid cycle. Until I started temping I didn't realize how late in my cycle I was ovulating and was trying to early every cycle and missing the boat every time!

I would keep trying just in case and maybe start charting your bbt and even get some cheap opks to go along with it so you know you nailed the dates (pun intended lol) every month. Knowing how long your luteal phase is will be a great help to you because if it's on the short side that could be working against you too. Good luck and baby dust to you!
