I got a strong positive OPK this morning. I wasn't sure that I would consistently use OPKs this month, so I didn't wait to BD until I got the positive OPK.
My husband and I have BD'd for the past two nights. That's means that, now that I have a positive OPK, I'll want to BD tonight and tomorrow night. I'm afraid that we've 'front loaded' our efforts again and that DH will be 'tapped out' now that I'm ovulating. Do you think that tonight, our third night in a row Bding and tomorrow night, the fourth night, he'll have anything left in there?!?!

I have heard that you should :sex: every other night BUT I dont see how that works as men are always making new sperm......

Long as his sperm count is good then :sex: every night will be fine. The every other day thing is mostly for people who suspect low sperm count, gives it time to build up more. Best of luck!

I didn't ovulate until 3 or 4 days after we had last had sex(OH went out of town), and I got pregnant. Sperm live for several days.
Good luck.

It's got to do with the quality, not the quantity of the sperm. This month's spermies have actually been produced 72 days ago. It's the motility that gets affected by frequency, although it does have to do with the individual man.

Not necessarily. There's a reason why docs advise an at least 3-day abstinence for accurate SA results. That said, if your husband can indeed perform every night, I would give it a try for those three days around ovulation :winkwink:

We did exactly the same as you first time round (four days in a row, two before, two after ov) and made our lovely DD! So it worked for us!
