Did you do anything differently after your loss?

I was thinking a little while about what I have done differently this time around, and what I wish I would have tried before. After my second loss i had all sorts of tests done and everything came back normal. After the third loss I had all but lost hope. That was when I went to a naturopathic dr and was told that I was severely deficient in vitimin D and essential amino acids. I had suspected that my problem had to do with poor quality eggs, and further research showed that those two things can indeed cause low quality eggs and miscarriage. I started a few suppliments and within a week I could feel a huge difference in myself. Five weeks later I had another bfp, and so far everything is looking really good.

I wondered if anyone else has done anything different this time around?

I, too, have been seeing a naturopathic dr. I started seeing him after my 2nd mc five years ago but my problem is partially hormonal (I don't make enough progesterone in my first tri to sustain a pregnancy) and partially unexplained (as yet). The naturopath has helped me start making healthier eating choices and see that my emotional eating habits weren't helping me but I've continued to have problems. I was/possibly still am low in Vit D and I know I'm at least slightly zinc, iodine, and calcium deficient as well but I'm taking supplements for those. He's hopeful I'll one day be able to sustain a pregnancy without taking progesterone but I'm slightly more skeptical at this point. Physically I feel better, I've lost weight, and I've gained muscle mass so I feel it's worth it to keep doing what he's prescribed.

I have never been diagnosed with pcos but suspect that I might have it or close to it. I actually switched to organic milk so no hormones from regular milk and a few months later bfp. We were ntnp as I didn't want the stress of trying at the moment
