Did you have an implantation dip in BBT chart?

So I just read an interesting article that some pregnant women had a day in which their BBT dipped down to their cover line. I was wondering if any ladies in first-tri noticed this on their charts...

I had a massive spike in my chart at 8 dpo - never seen temperatures as high before. All my temps that cycle stayed well above the coverline.

I am pretty sure this was the day I implanted. I didn't feel anything different - no pains, no spotting and I felt completely normal. Don't worry too much about symptoms while ttc - so many ladies in first tri report they don't start many of their symptoms until about 6 weeks in.

All the best with TTC! You'll get your bfp soon!

Thank you cantwaitforu! I know I'm totally obsessing. I just really want it to happen!

It will!

In fact, the day my bean implanted, I was told I probably would not conceive naturally. Two days later, I set up my fertility specialist appointment, then two days after that, I got my bfp.

It took us 9 months, and I had a shortish luteal phase - averaging between 10 and 12 days, but started spotting about 3-5 days before AF. My GP did an initial fertility work-up and discovered that my FSH and LH were quite low, but my estrogen and progesterone were perfect.

When it does happen for you, you will know that it was the right time. I've seen my little baby three times through ultrasound already, and I am so happy that it happened when it did - not a month sooner, not a month later because I already feel a special love for our little one, and I know we were given THIS baby for a reason.

Have some faith and know that when you get your bfp, it will be because that baby came to you for a very important reason.

how long have you been ttc for?

I've been off BC since September. I'd say we've been trying since December. I thought I caught a bean in February (I had every symptom in the book) but it turns out my body was just trying to regulate with my SIL whose cycles are normal. Mine have always been irregular. Thanks so much for the encouragement! I really need it right now. I've been so worried that I'm some kind of half woman who can't have kids.

I had an implantation dip this time, but have also had them when i've not been pregnant. You'll get there sweetie. Any day now I'm sure.

I didn't have a dip! Temps all stayed above coverline! GL! x

If you click on my link in my siggy you'll see I did have a dip at 10 DPO. I had some mild cramping 9 or 10DPO as well. Not everyone gets an implantation dip though. I got my BFP at 12 DPO. :-)

Good luck getting your :bfp:
:dust:

I just started feeling crampy. Not super bad but it is making me a bit nauseous

Try your hardest to not think like that! You are a healthy, young and fertile woman. Your body has been designed to get pregnant.

TBH, the month we conceived all the ttc stress I had was gone because I knew we would be starting more in-depth fertility tests soon. I know that's the last thing we all want to hear while ttc, but I'm sure there must be some truth to it. My mind was in a different place that month. I even told DH on the day of my temp rise that I wanted to plan a trip to somewhere in Asia and take up rock climbing. I figured that I had to stop being so depressed and carry on with living my life to its fullest.

The month before my bfp I went back to practicing yoga and trying to get out more to see friends.

You WILL get pregnant!

Thank you again. You should be a counselor! You're so encouraging and helpful! :)

:) Thanks!

TTC took a toll on me and I know exactly how you feel. But please have some faith - all my ttc troubles seem like a distant memory and when you get your bfp, you will feel the same and wish that you weren't so hard on yourself.
