Hey,

I was just wondering whether you are all still happy with the choices you made about your prams/pushchairs etc?

I've got the Quinny Buzz 3 and I bloody hate it!! Yes, its useful for when Emily falls asleep in the car and I can just stick the car-seat on the wheels, but other than that, I am so disappointed in it.

She always looks like her head is tilted backwards in the dreami-carrycot bit and I hate the look of the pushchair attachment.

It really strains my back trying to lift either the carseat or the carrycot bit off the wheels cos you have to kind of lean over it and push in 2 small buttony things and lift it off at the same time, and I just cant seem to push it straight in shops!

So, I'm going to get a new one in January (after we've recovered from christmas :haha:), and I was just wondering whether you're happy in your choices and if so why would you recommend it?

Thanks xx

Ended up no we werent.
We got teh Cosatto Cabi and at the time it was perfect for us. But as we used it the niggles came up, the handle wasnt comfy, it make your arms feel unnatrually squashed together.
It folded down into 2 pieces which at the time we didnt think was a prob, we use pram busses so why would we need to fold it? Turned out we used the non pram busses more than we thought.

We went for the Babysyle Oyster as a replacement and i love it :D

Nope ...I need to test prams i cant find a parent facing pram that folds small and light x

I at first had a M&P one.. hated it. When LO was out of carseat it was front facing. She doesn't like it and cries all the time. At the same time we got a Quinny Zapp, for its lightness etc. We used it with the carseat until LO was 10 months. She is a very small girl and only weighs 20lb now. Well once she outgrew the carseat, we were screwed.

So we bought a Loola and even though it doesn't fold down small, I love it. It looks soo comfy, the handles are not too close together, the basket is a decent size, and its rear facing.

nope, had a big inglesina pram, was also a travel system where car seat could clip on to frame, it was nice for walks but too big for shops, then had it stolen anyway, then had a loola, which looked quite nice, but frame felt un sturdy, was soo heavy, had that with car seat also. then had a petite star zia, but handles felt too low, was really flimsy, couldnt even put a changing bag on it. and basket was to small. my latest buy was the silver cross pop in pink bubbles and i love it!, perfect in every way, love the handle height, love the basket, and reclining seat is perfect, hood is great, so think i finally found the one! lol..still got the loola and petite star zia in the garage though haha. xx

no we didnt, we have the m&p skate which i would love if it didnt start getting loads of niggles like the seat doesnt always recline on first attempt, it sticks when we go to fold it up so it takes a few times to do that aswell.

Love my Bugaboo denim cameleon and my red bee....no faults with either!

After 45 prams I need to get it right, but I'm already looking at the Mothercare exceursion in grey denim and the i-candy peach in black jack as spares, lol!

I'm a total pram whore!

We have the BOB Sport Utility Stroller . We got it because we're rather outdoorsy and wanted sometime to take on trails . It's a great hiking stroller , excellent on gravel and dirt trails , never gets caught up on roots or rocks . It's a bit of a struggle going up steep inclines however . It sucks for everyday use , it's just so big and is a really struggle to fold up . Over all though I do really like it but I regret buying it solely because we hardly use it . I use the baby carrier I'd say over 90% of the time . Had I known I would have just gotten a nicer baby carrier and skipped the stroller entirely .

I love our pram!!!! Silver Cross sleepover on linear chassis. It is big, but so snuggly for Izzy and we always get comments about it when we are out, and it doubles up as a moses basket which is great. Also the top moses basket bit unclips for the chassis which is perfect in our flat as the chassis goes in a shed and dont have to worry about getting it in the door.

My god you are a pram whore!!!

I never really liked my stroller even when I bought it, we bought a graco travel system and we really bought that one as we did not want to spend too much money on a pram. It has been ok, sometimes it sticks when i try to recline it but it has not been too bad. If I had my way I would get another one but the one i like is too expensive. I am stuck with this one for now!

I totally LOVE my UPPA Baby Vista stroller....worth every penny. I thought about the Bugaboos but the fall short because they cannot convert to a double stroller like the UPPA can! Plus they are parent facing.

Nic that is the pram I want. UPPA Baby Vista. It looks fab. I could not remember it. Wow the UPPA can convert to a double stroller. DO you know if one of the double parts would take a car seat?

I have an I-Candy Apple and i adore it... Sienna looks snug and it steers like a dream :) I cant find a single fault with it and thats amazing as i have owned loads of prams

I actually really love our Silver Cross 3D - it's really sturdy for walks around where we live, it's pretty light considering it's size, folds down pretty easily (up is a bit of a struggle but that's my wrists not the pram lol). It's a bit of a faff to get it in and out of different modes (you have to make your decision before you leave the house lol) but on the whole it's a good purchase. Earl really loves his pram - we're yet to use it in pushchair mode obviously but we are planning on getting a smaller stroller for going on the bus etc once he can go in a pushchair as it's quite bulky for short trips etc (and our car doesn't like it - both hubby and I have scraped knuckles from getting it in and out of the boot lol).

Yes. We had a Graco Mosiac Travel System to start, £130 complete, an utter bargain and a great buggy. lightweight, easy to push, compact when folded and has little extra's like pockets in the back of the hood, something my Luna hasn't. It's annoying when you want to pop to the shop and you can't chuck your keys and purse in the back lol!! I have a M&P luna now, we wanted to keep the Graco in good condition should Number 2 arise!! I love my luna, it's so lightweight and easy to steer! The only downside is when folding it, the footmuff can get dirty as it collapses down on the ground.

We have the silver cross 3D and have had so many problems with it. I find it really heavy to push and difficult to fold up and down. My mum can hardly ever put it up by herself even though she follows the instructions! Having said this, my LO is very comfortable in it and loves going out and about so it isn't all bad!!

I love my Graco! It's the sterling travel system and it's been great, easy to steer, not too heavy, fits in my focus and hubby's fiesta, nice car seat which is easy to attach/remove, got a little compartment for my keys and a spare dummy in the handle section etc.

The one niggle I would have (but it's never been a real problem) is that the raincover only fits over the stroller bit, you can't use it with the car seat on. But seeing as how the car seat has a hood and there is another hood which covers the other side it hasn't been an issue - if it's lashing down I just don't use the car seat.

I'll probably buy a cheap summer stroller next year for Ethan as I am trying to keep it in good condition for #2 too because it really has been brilliant, and I think the whole set up was only around £140!

No, I bought the Quinny Buzz 3, which I love, BUT I also have the M&P Pliko pramette and bloody hate the thing. Raved about it when I was pregnant...then Halen was born and the problems came out.
The "pram" mode is rubbish, the foot part is higher than his head, so hes laying at a downward angle? It's rock solid as theres no padding on it so he's effectively laying on a piece of material over a plastic base with lumps and bumps on it. The foot part is also the head part in pushchair mode, and it doesn't always recline on your first, second or third attempt as one side gets stuck. The raincover is curved a bit funny to one side, which is purely cosmetic but I hate it as I want my pushchair to look perfect. I want to sell it but OH said no cause we can't do shopping with the Quinny and we don't have a car :(
