Did you make the right pram choice?

I had the Buzz 3 at first, and after 4 weeks I hated it.
It steered crap, was too big to fit in my golf boot and was an effort to fold/unfold.

I then got My Bug Cameleon, which to this day, I still adore but hate having to take the seat unit off to fold and as I drive everywhere it became a bit of a pain, but everything else was perfect for me! I also love the way you can swap and change the fabric sets when you get bored and its like having a new pram all over again:happydance:

I now the Bugaboo Bee, and the jury is still out. Its small, compact and easy to push/fold etc but Im wondering if the seat is actually too small. I do love the way it looks though.

I'm also eyeing up the petit star zia after going with a friend to test drive it...it was so small folded, reclines and is so nice to push, the only downside is its not parent facing.

I have the Quinny Speedi and i love it, very happy with it.

Only thing i got hacked off with was the price for the added extras xx

Also another thing about the mura is since march I've only seen 2 others and they've only been in the last month!

yeah its weird isnt it!! its such a brilliant pram i can never understand why you dont see more of them!!!!!!! ive only ever bumped into one person who had one as well, and we were so glad to see each other that we had a good chat about them! (she loves hers too!)

I have the first wheels city elite and i love it! I have it in red and people always comment on it. Its got big bouncy wheels, it turns really easy and is light to push and lift up. Ive had loads of prams and its by far the best (and cheapest!) ive had. xx

We have a Mothercare My3 which is fantastic to push, can turn on a sixpence one handed, looks good IMO...BUT the pram mode is not very padded, doesn't work as a carrycot on its own, i.e off the chassis, and is heavy and fills my car boot. It's also broken twice, and we're currently borrowing a Quinny Buzz 3 while it's being fixed. The Quinny I do like, but it feels very flimsy to me, nothing like as easy to push as the My3, and the pushchair seat is too far reclined for a 6 month old who wants to sit upright the whole time.

We had a Graco to start with and absolutely HATED it! It was free though so didn't feel too bad when we got the Quinny Buzz 3 second hand. The Graco was huge and so heavy, impossible to steer, I was so glad to get rid of it. I really like the Graco but like someone else said, I use a baby carrier 90% of the time and sort of wish I'd spent a bit more money on that!

I have a bugaboo cameleon and i just love it. Well worth nana's money.

We have the M&P Pliko which I thought was perfect until I got it! It's heavy, doesn't fold down properly, is hell on a bus and takes ages to switch modes between pram and car seat.

I've got the First Wheels city elite in cream and love it! Bought it from kiddicare, it was really cheap plus looks like a bugaboo (which EVERY mum round here has). Been brilliant (bar one tyre explosion when my husband helpfully overinflated it!)

I got the Mutsy urban rider and so far im very happy with it. It is a little heavy and fills my brothers carboot so cant see it fitting into a small car. Other than that its great. Ive had it on many buses and it's chunky wheels take lumps and bumps in their stride. I love that its all one handle so I can choose where my hands are positioned rather than on 2 static handles. Overall im happy with it. Might be handy to have a lighter weight one as well if funds allowed but they dont :(

we have a bug cam too and its worked out really well, light, sturdy and easy to steer x

Also another thing about the mura is since march I've only seen 2 others and they've only been in the last month!

Yep i have only ever seen one other one! compared to alot of others they are pretty reasonably priced too! do you have the bag they goes with it? is it any good?

no the bag didnt tickle my fancy so i went for a jujube and i love it!!

yep we definitely made the right choice. we had the whole bug cam with car seat from birth and i love it, no complaints. we also have the icandy cherry and i'm currently loving that too, i just like a bit of variety if i'm honest, and the cam has sentimental value so i want to keep in nice.
the only thing i would say is i'd like something one piece, which is something i'll think about for baby number 2 :)

No. The first pram I had for Jason was a Silvercross 3D. My mum offered to buy it as she feels its her thing to get her daughters prams when they have a baby. She had lied and said it was brand new off ebay. When she brought it up it was obvious it was not. I used it once and the hood kept falling down and I felt it was rattly.

Pram number 2 was a Britax Trekker my OH loved but I hated. I gave it to his sister for when she babysat. I never used it.

Pram number 3 was a gorgeous Jane Slalom Pro. He outgrew the matrix cup within a month and the pushchair seat wasn't good for his back as no matter how I had the harness he always slipped down. It was gorgeous though. Has only recently been sold.

Pram number 4 I got when I still had the Jane. It was a Quinny Buzz. I hated it. Would not steer and constantly got flat tyres.

Pram number 5 I had when I still had the Jane and the Quinny. It was a Firstwheels City Elite. Actually quite a nice pushchair to use, I just thought it was ugly.

Pram number 6 is a Mamas and Papas Beat. I cannot fault this stroller. Does what it says on the tin, looks nice and is smooth to push. I use it when I cannot be bothered to heave...

Pram number 7. My much loved Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe. I adore this pushchair. Its got a huge basket, loads of little hidey holes for glasses or mobiles. A clock and a temperature gauge. Its heavy and rattley, kinda squeeks too but I cannot do without it. I really want a Pliko but I refuse to sell the Graco to get one. So.. :o)

If I could go back in time I would get a traditional bouncy 3 in 1 and then another Graco quattro.

We have the Bugaboo Bee which no compliants other than the handle broke which has now been fixed apart from that i think the right choice even though i would like a phil and teds.. teehee, i remember the days i used to bag and shoe watch, now i go shopping and pram watch!!!! its like pram porn!

When I was first looking at prams, I really wanted the Loola so I could get the windoo for the car and pram. But I kept looking at the stokke, longingly, and in the end I bought one second hand when I was nine months pregnant and got a Jane matrix car seat instead. Best thing EVER. I adore it, it's brilliant for the tube, for stairs, for escalators and buses. A bit bulky for the hopper bus, so I tend to put her in a sling for that, and it's a pain to fit in the car as it comes into two pieces, but we almost never put it in the car, so that's ok. I might have to get something more lightweight later, but right now it's brilliant and so cosy. Imogen sleeps in the carrycot really well, and with the fabrics, it's warm enough for her to sleep outside the pub occassionally ;) It's great for taking to people's houses for dinner, as I can just put her in it to sleep with a blanket over it when she's tired.
