As tittle states in curious by using preseed did I help bad spermies make it
About to ttc for first time since mmc back in nov 2012
I had been trying for a year before that and got my bfp first month using preseed was going to use it again but thought crossed my mind what if I encouraged what shouldn't of happened

Yes, I did use Preseed, and later had a miscarriage. BUT I don't personally think they are linked. There is quite a bit of anecdotal "evidence" out there about Preseed allowing "bad" sperm to get to the egg. Even if it allows some of these "bad" sperm to get past your cervix, there are a lot of other obstacles between your cervix and your fallopian tube. I won't believe claims about Preseed unless I see a peer-reviewed study that supports it.

Remember, 20-25% of pregnancies end in m/c. Some of those were conceived with Preseed (or another sperm-friendly lubricant), but most weren't. It sucks, but sometimes these things just happen. You'll make yourself crazy if you keep wondering about all these "what ifs."

I'm TTC again after my loss, and I'm using Preseed again. Whatever will be will be.

Good luck :)

I used preseed and had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. It never even occurred to me that there could be a link so we started using it again this cycle...but now I'm worried :?

i used pre-seed to conceive my DS- I didn't use pre-seed with either of my losses.
