Alex wasnt sicky when we moved him to formula and hasnt been for a couple of months, but recently he now is?
I wind him as much as possible untill nothing comes up but he still spits up.
I havent changed his formula...

Any ideas?

I had exactly the same problem with Thomas at this age. He was never a sicky baby to start with. I took him the doctors and he eventually got diagnosed with infant reflux. My doctor told me that it is most common in boys and occurs around the 4 month age. Thomas wasn't losing weight but I hated seeing him sick so much.

We would give him a bottle, wind him, put him in his cot and he would just sick everywhere.

If your worried about it take him the doctors and if it is infant reflux they will prescribe him some infant gaviscon (which is good!) xx

That is usually what happens, we wind him as much as poss, put him to bed and hes sicked up.

Ill get him an appointment, ty

Let me know how you get on hun, its awful watching them sick everywhere. Thomas always looked so shocked!! Poor little thing xx

Did he do it with every feed?
It doesnt happen with every feed with Alex...

Not every feed but most. We had the odd day where he didn't have any but not very often xx

Jac's been like thos since he was approx 12 weeks old (ok before). Still putting on loads of weight though so im not worried and it doesnt bother him either.

We did see the Doc when he was nearly 14 weeks old as it was really bad for 2/3 days and we got gaviscon...but it didnt totally clear it up and it made him constipated so i stopped it.

He doesnt spitup after every feed but most of the time and can be 3-4 times up to next feed...so he's in a bib 24/7 nearly (he'll maximum spit up 1/2 oz if that).

He doesnt spitup on his bedtime feed though(maybe twice since he's been born)...which is odd.

I've also read that spitups peak at 4/5 months old as this is when babies drink the most so it's more likey to happen. We've also started weaning so i'm hoping it'll start to slow down soon.

It does sound like what the prob, what you have both said completley relates to alex

You might find my post
Projectile Vomiting - Gastro-oesophageal reflux useful as it explains everything I went through with two of my children and which medicine resolved the problem.

I've got exactly the same problem with Ethan - in the last few weeks or so he has been projectile vomitting a lot - GP prescribed gaviscon which worked but made him so constiptated we had to stop using it. Then on Friday he threw up 13 times in an hour! I took him back to GP who doesn't think it's pyloric stenosis (good) because he's too old and he's putting on weight. However they have referred Ethan to the Paeds in the hospital to double check, and also to do a pH test etc. GP said they may be able to prescribe some milk which might help so we'll see what happens.
