Hello girls,:flower:
can you please list some of the foods/meals and snacks do you eat? Like a sample of breakfast, lunch and dinner.. I have to attend a class to learn more about these things but this morning I ate scrambled eggs with sausage and a bit of ketchup, had water and an hour later my numbers were 145..:dohh: it says 140 and bellow is normal, so I would love to bring that # down!

Thank you!

Perhaps the ketchup was high in sugar? Also sausages are usually filled with bread to bulk them out so the carbs could have been high which would affect the glucose levels.

Basically I have been told to avoid all white bread and substitute for wholemeal, no processed potato products, and to limit carbs so if you have a pasta dish then do not have garlic bread with it.

I have been following the diet for a week now and have managed to keep my levels below 7.0mml (I don't know the American equivilent)
For example I will have:
Breakfast- Wholemeal toast with butter
Lunch- Prawn sandwich on wholemeal with crisps (whole potato, not processed)
Dinner- Chicken with new potatoes and salad
Snacks- apples (no more than 2 a day), digestive biscuits, ryvita, raw vegetables
