When breast feeding is there any particular things i should/shouldn't be eating or is it pretty much the same as when you're pregnant?

I eat what i like now, except chocolate it brings her out in spots.

Just eat normally babe. You hear people saying stupid things like "avoid spicy things" etc but how do you think Indian women and women in other cultures eat?:dohh:

When you're pregnant baby drinks the amniotic fluid which the taste (apparently) can be influenced by what you eat, breastmilk is similar and can taste a little differently (apparently....I've not drunk it:rofl:) depending on which foods you eat. In my experience of breastfeeding (one for 12months, one for 15months and one for 9months) I've never come across a problem when eating any kind of foods.

I've also heared that fizzy drinks can give baby gas/wind which is obviously crap coz the bubbles don't go in your milk do they????:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Frothy milk on your latte anyone?:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Don't fret....eat what you like but make sure you're drinking plenty of fluids to keep yourself hydrated:hugs::hugs:

Good luck babe:hug:
