Difference between heat and allergy rashes?

How do you tell the difference?

I have a rash all over my chest and shoulders. I don't know if it's heat rash or an allergy to the suncream I used xx

Is it more blotchy and the spots join one another?

How itchy is it? Did you put cream anywhere else?

If you're not BF or pregnant, then I'd take an antihistamine, drink plenty of water and see if it calms down.

i usually get heatrash but i get that all the time even when its not sunny!! i found out yesterday i have solar dermatitis though so i have a mild allergy to the sun!! stupid as it sounds!! have you used the sun cream anywhere else or have you used that suncream before? if its heat rash try using some e45 cream thats what i used to use on mine .. owever if it gets worse or bleeds consult your doctors x

I took an antihistamine and it went down. It's come up again today though, think it's something to do with the sun
