Pregnant after 3 consecutive mcs. I've not got this far before 10+4 yesterday I started cramping and had brown lumpy discharge and some light spotting. I've had the discharge early on without the cramps. Just curious as to whether I would get ligament stretching pains about now. I described my pains to my friend she says the same as she had had. She is 18weeks. What I've read about ligament stretching pain is it can be short and sharp where as I just have a dull constant ache with the short sharp pains when I stand, bend and stretch. Stomach also feels tender. My dr had told me not to worry unless I get heavy bleeding and I saw the baby was fine on Thurs at 10 weeks. I wouldnt be concerned if it wasn't the pain and the spotting. Why do we never stop worrying? Xxx

Praying that everything turns out well for you. I've had cramping throughout this pregnancy. One night of severe and constant for 45 min- that one was likely the last phase of my body absorbing our non-viable twin. I've also had a constant pain on my right side due to a large cyst. When I move it gets worse and causes quick sharp pains bc of the pulling on it. My cramping, according to my dr is unrelated to the cyst, only the constant pain.

Cramping is scary and I fully understand the fear of mc. Even tho my dr and I don't always see eye to eye, he is great that if I feel it is bad enough or worrying me enough that they will get me in. see if you can get an appt to reassure you if needed. Might just be able to have a quick u/s to show baby is doing ok. A brown discharge is typically old blood and it can become trapped, but as you move it works its way out.

Unfortunately the worrying never ends. We become (well most, not me with my situation right now) more comfortable as pregnancy progresses that things will be ok. Then when baby is born a whole new set of worries begin.

I started getting the cramping around 6 weeks this time (but there are two). I think around 10 weeks is normal for one baby. The RLP/ cramping I've had is NOTHING like what I had during my MC. The MC was more like labor than just cramping and had me curled up on the bed. The cramps I've had haven't been bad enough to stop me from doing anything. I've had some RLP that has made me stop for awhile, but that's a totally different kind of pain that doesn't feel anything like a cramp/ labor.

Hi both, thanks for reply. I Went in for a scan, baby was all fine. Spotting had carried on. Had my dating scan today where it really hurt as they wanted a look at my cervix/blood flow. 30mins after the scan I started bleeding heavily through my clothes. They scanned me again as I will still there and baby is still fine. They could see where the bleed was coming from, outside my womb but said there is no explanation for it. Really sore tender belly now. No mc style cramps just tender. Will the worry never end. Dr said she was happy with the baby and just to rest up. Xx

Fantastic news! It is always comforting to see that growing baby! Wishing you the best!

Congratulations hun. That is such good news. So happy for you :hugs:
