Am I the only one with this problem? I just moved to the states last week from the uk and the formula here (or at least the one we are using, similac) has a scoop that is twice as deep as the aptamil scoop I'm used to. Maybe I'm doing this wrong but I can never get the scoop level and evenly filled. It is kind of awkward. There are gaps where the powder clumps and doesn't fall in properly when I scoop it up. As a result I always worry I'll be making the formula too watery.
It works if I shake it in, but then I'd probably be overfilling it.
Is there a trick to this??? I feel really silly asking but I found the smaller aptamil scoop soooo much easier and I feel my scoops are now way less accurate because of the clumping problem. not a major problem I know but just annoying! Are there formula brands with single oz scoops?
