So, I decided to test. I am technically 13 days late.

I went for the digital because on 7/7 I took a test and a whitish line showed up immediately where the positive line would be and never went away. I thought it could be an evaporation line, although those usually don't appear until after the test is garbage.

I took a CVS digital. Unforunately, the test never worked so I still don't know the results. But, when I went to take the test strip out to throw it away...there were 2 blue lines.

Now, the issue I have is when I was pregnant with my second son I used a digital and it had the 2 blue lines as well. But, the pamphlet says 2 lines may not mean you are indeed pregnant.

Anyone have any similar experiences?

i did a CB digi with conception indicator at 8 dpo (knew it was too early) and got "not pregnant" and when i opened that it had 3 blue lines, did another one at 9 dpo and got "pregnant 1-2" opened that one and it still had the three blue lines, so i wouldnt really go by the lines inside i would take it back to where you bought it and tell them its faulty x

Thank you for your reply. I will probably have to pick up a new test tomorrow--or just wait until my doctor's appointment 7/27.

digital tests always have lines on them

Reg digital has 2 and the conception indicator ones have 3

as for the white like that is the antibody strip. It would/should have changed colour if you were pregnant

OK, I am no expert but here is what I understand (I am pregnant and have used the Digis)

There are two strips inside the Digital test. The top one will show one line if you are pregnant. The bottom one will show (from left to right) the amount of weeks pregnant you are and then the control line.

The amount of weeks line can apparently sometimes be there though if you are not pregnant (I think maybe it measures LH as well, unsure).

Basically, if you are pregnant then there will be one line on the top, and two lines on the bottom. The further gone you are, the darker the line to the left will be on the bottom. As I am now nearly 7 weeks (and getting 3+ on digi), the line is a lot darker than the Control line.

Hope this helps a bit, there are quite a few threads in the Pregnancy Tests thread as well about this. xx

Here is a photo of my 3+, this may help someone to identify the lines that will show if it is ++

This is of peeonastick.com

My digital test said "Not Pregnant," but the test stick has 2 lines. Am I really pregnant? The lines on the digital test stick (both Clearblue Easy Digital and e.p.t. Certainty) do not mean anything. They cannot be read like a regular test.
