Dilema regarding my dog :-(

I have a 2 year yorkshire terrior, who was... toilet trained to go outside but for the past 6 months she has been messing inside!!! i have tried re-training her but has not worked!! i cant cope with cleaning up the mess and wee every day .. some times more. Also have a 1 year old who is soon to be walking. Any advice please??? xx

Could she be coming into season ?

Has anything changed for her? new food? You might want to take her to the vets hun it could be that she has soemthing wrong with her.

Thank you for your advice. no she is not in season and she is the same when she is and she isnt.

I have taken her to the vets and they said nothing is wrong with her. x

sounds liek its just a metal thing for her hun pushing her boundiers (sp?) trying to establish alfa in the pack.. Only thin you can do is re-train lots of praise when she goes outside dont let her watch you cleaning it up ect ect oh and if your not against it you could try crateing her alot of people use this to house train and once she stops going inside of course she wont be in the crate so much

I dont really have any advice. Twix is only 5 months old but she messes inside and its annoying lol.. I am trying to establish new ways with her...

I have 2 yorkies too and they can be very stubborn, I would recommend to try retraining her take her out as soon as you wake up in the morning until she goes then praise her. Depending on how little she is take her out again in 4-6 hours until she goes repeat thru the whole day if you can.

I'm no expert but been watching dog training programmes on the tv in preparation for getting a pup. If she is happy to go outside, put her out quite alot to see if she does something. If not try taking her for more walks, see if she's happy to do her stuff then. Lots of affection too, maybe she feels a bit lost with your LO there xx
