Discharge-Sorry TMI!

Hi ladies, today I've been getting a clear jelly like discharge and I feel a bit smelly down below sorry tmi. I also felt in the night like my knickers were really wet and my bump is really achy especially down the left side at the bottom. I have been weeing a lot but that's nothing new for me!

I've just googled and a few sites have come up this could be onset of labour!! I've scared myself now, I did call the Dr but they don't have any appts until tmw and that will be with the nurse to get my urine checked, I thought it might possibly be a uti?

I also called midwife but only got an answering service that says they will call back 24-48 hrs so I think I will just wait until tmw to see the nurse. I don't feel that it's an emergency as I don't feel unwell.

Has anyone else had anything like this?

I had clear jelly stuff with my first and when I asked a nurse at the hospital ( went to get my friend checked out) she said it was my plug I started labour a couple of days later xx

Hope all goes well for you at the nurse tomorrow and just remember all pregnancies are different and also I read that you can lose your plug several times during pregnancy and they didn't specify at how's by weeks it can start so if it is your plug then a new one could already be forming fingers crossed for you Hun xx

I've had it plenty of times this pregnancy and I'm still here and pregnant! Thank goodness! I don't believe this sounds like the onset of labour, you would be continuously wetting through your knickers if membranes had ruptured and would need a pad. The jelly discharge may be normal for you or may be a sign of an infection especially if foul smelling like you say. Just have your gp take some swabs when you go. Xx

Thanks I will I am a quite worried but will see what they say tmw. I haven't had it since this afternoon and do feel like I may have cystitis coming or something. Thanks for the advice xx

Don't worry, plug gets Lost and regenerates lots of times in pregnancy.
When you're about to have the baby you might lose a plug with blood in it - that's a sign of labour but a clear one is not.
The pain is probably growing pains, if it comes in waves and becomes unbearable then I'd worry but aches and pains are very normal xx

Thanks hun, I had protein and blood in my wee she is sending it off to the lab and I have to phone thurs to see what infection I have if I deffo have one which I pretty much think I do as feeling really poorly I suppose they'll give me antibiotics when results are back. Hope baby will be ok xx

when will you get results back?

Thursday morning, hopefully won't feel any worse in between now and then, the dr said if I get a temp or feel worse then to call and they will see me again. She did say its really common so we will see.
