Discomfort on left side, constipation??

Hi Girls,

The last few days I've had some discomfort, not really pain, down the left hand side of my abdomen. It sort of feels like a pressure discomfort and it runs nearly inside my hip bone. If I press on the area I think I can sometimes feel baby move around a little but I don't think the discomfort is baby itself if that makes sense?

I'm thinking perhaps trapped wind, constipation or a combination of both? Or maybe round ligament?

Anyone else had anything similar? It's just annoying more than anything.

It could be constipation. I think I had the same issue- where there was discomfort on the left side and it was more of a nuisance b/c you knew it was there but not causing pain. I was at the doctor's and asked if could be a cyst (I have PCOS) and she said that your bowels end over there so if you're feeling discomfort it's probably that. My uncomfortableness did end up going away so I think she was right.

Thanks Purpleivy. I think I'll get some prune juice (urgh) and see if that helps get things moving.... The joys of pregnancy eh!
