Oh gosh thats awfull hun!I used the ready made Hipp now as he only has 2 bottles and its just easier but scary to think that it was in there.Good job you spotted it hun.x
 
I think I'll be just sticking to cartons in future erugh. Definately going to write to them, even if weevils are common they shouldn't be in formula, they should use better quality ingredients for babies :|
 
Thats gross! In flour etc as others have said not too bad but baby formula! I use Cow and Gate Stage 1 and always get it in tesco's will be keeping a close eye on the powder!
 
Disgraceful. I'd be wary of sending it back to them; you many never hear anything about it again and they'll have the evidence. I'd contact food standards agency first before sending anything away.

Yes definately contact an authority first, i would say your local environmental health. They will want to see the product so keep hold of it. You'd better contact tesco as well as your rights are with the shop you bought it from, not the manufacturer. But do contact the manufacturer as well, but probably best not to send it back til other authorities have checked it if they want to.
