Do accounts become inactive over time?

Just wondered this, If I was a long time without posting, could my account become inactive? Thankx XXX

Accounts do go into an inactive state after 180 days of no activity (EG. avatar, signatures are not viewable etc), but that is more so we can release usernames of inactive accounts with zero posts. Those with posts can reactivate their username just by logging back in.
