Basically as the title says! I want to try an anti-reflux milk as LO's reflux seems to be getting worse rather than better (GP says he is putting on weight so not to worry but it can hardly be nice to throw up several times an hour). He was prescribed Gaviscon but after just two days it made him super constipated (screaming and crying when trying to go) so don't wan to give it to him again. I was wondering if Anti-reflux milks also cause constipation? He is currently on comfort but as its getting worse I think we need to move to the next stage. Any experience or advice greatly received. Thankyou in advance.

We use Aptamil AR and it constipates LO. So I offer him cooled boiler water throughout the day in sips, this seems to help make them a bit less hard and easier to pass.

I haven't had a problem with S26 AR, but I also offer sips of water here and there too.

It CAN do. But not all babies

I know we had real issues with Gaviscon. When we moved to SMA I think we finally had a normal nappy!
