I'm looking at getting a table and chair set for Fran and I've seen this one on the Ikea website:

https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50178411/

Do any of you have it? Is it sturdy? Value for money?

Reviews would be greatly appreciated :flower:

we do! It's great, and I sit regularly on the chair too so I think it's quite sturdy. Really easy to make up and has lasted for nearly a year with us and still going with no sign of any problem.

We have the Kritter one. It's great, sturdy and easy to clean. We got it about a year & 1/2 ago when LO was 1 yr 1 month.

We have the Kritter chairs teamed with the Lack table (one set at Tattie's house and one set at ours) ... the chairs are very sturdy and take an adults weight

Yep we had this one, we used it for about 2 years until he just looked dirty, Dec used to paint the top of it lol. We still have the little chairs, I painted them to match Decs room, we sit on them when we are reading books, they can hold my weight :)

I have that one for my son and I think it's well worth the money xx

we have this one. its fab especially for how much it costs! It is easy to clean and although its light its still quite sturdy. Doesnt wobble or anything. Lo loves it.

We have the kritter one - I stand on them all the time to hang curtains and they wipe clean brilliantly.

We have this table in red:

And three of these chairs in red, blue and white.

They're fantastic!!! Love Ikea stuff

Thanks for the feedback ladies. Found out today that my friend has this set too and she says it's good so think we might go for it :-)

I thought about getting this one but went for the more expensive one after looking at it. It seems quite sturdy but is quite a bit smaller than the other ones they do. I didn't want to buy a smaller set just to replace it next year when LO outgrows it :)

We have it and it's great, v easy to wipe clean and just the right size to tuck into the corner of our livingroom. xx

We have it here too:thumbup:

I think it's fab for the price it is and it must be bloody sturdy as it hold my big butt no bother:haha:

I went and looked at this one, but the one on display looked too flimsy so we got a different one.

We have the SUNDVIK table and chair in white. It was easy to put up and seems sturdy, but my daughter is only just one so doesn't weigh much!

We have it in her bedroom and it's very useful for putting the washing basket on while I put her clothes away. She can't 'help' then

We also have Kritter table and chairs. I've always found Ikea kids things to be remarkably sturdy x

We've got this set too, we've found it great value for money, I sit on the other chair and have my dinner so its quite sturdy, was easy to put together and callum does his stickers/painting/colouring/play doh on it as well as eating his meals at it, it wipes clean really well xx

We had this latt set and it isn't worth it, the middle of the table and chairs is essentially just thin hardboard (or thick cardboard) and the white finish chips off extremely easy just when wiped. Then we got the predecessor to the Kritter range (looks the same, just didn't have the animal silhouette thing going on), much much better and well worth the additional money, that one lasted for nearly 4 years and we used to do everything on there; the kids even used it for eating all their meals at and it still stayed in pretty good shape for all that time xx

Looks pretty good to me....

But why, why....Does it cost so much more here in Australia? :dohh:

$39 = £25
