hi everyone,

i had a miscarriage in january and now am experiencing some symptoms...

1. ovulation pain that last days after ovulation ( up to 5 dpo)
2. once every 4 to 6 months, painful bowel movement
3. sometimes ( once every 10 times) when i am having intercourse, i feel a stabbing poking sensation in my pelvic area (it is not really painful)

i appreciate any advice. i just went to doctor due to ovulation pain after ovulation and they did a sonogram for cyst and there were no cyst....

thank you.

The biggest symptom of endo is pain. Pain during sex and especially during your menstrual cycle (beyond horrid cramps). It can be hereditary.

With that being said, I was diagnosed with endo this past Feb but had NO symptoms. It does not run in my family either. The only way to get tested for endo is thru surgical lap. Endo doesn't show up on scans.

It's sounds like you may have it, but then again I'm no MD. I also didn't suspect I would ever have it.

What made you get the lap surgery if you didn't have symptoms?

It was a recommended by my OB since we're considering IVF. Apparently, you must have one done before getting IVF. That, and I like to be thorough.

Oh I see...my doc wants me to go see him if I am not pregnant by August. I got pregnant only after 1 month of trying but sadly miscarriages.

Was there a big recovery time?

It's crazy how you had no symptoms! I have no period pains at all and always a 28 day cycle

My condolences for you MC. Some women with endo (like me) don't know they have it and go on to have viable pregnancies.

You're out of commission for 2 weeks. No sex, working, exercise, and lifting anything over 25 pounds. Although you can swim after a week. I took the first week to rest, felt better but still sore around the second.

If he wants to test you that early in suspicion of endo, then I'd accept the offer. Unless you're 35 or over (at 6 months), they won't test you until you've actively TTC for a year.

Hey! Sorry for your loss!!! I had no symptoms except spotting (which I am having still post lap & hysteroscopy) so I am wondering if that was the cause. My Re found & removed stage 3 endo! I was so happy there was a cause for my infertility! My doctor said that the probability of having some degree of endo is 80% if ou are over 30 and never had a child. I had been trying for 19 months and wishi had done the lap earlier!! Recovery wasn't bad, I was up moving around the next day and would have been back to normal life one week after except that I had a cyst that was painful so I was put on pelvic rest and told not to work out. The cyst resolved itself within the week and I was back to working out and sex!!

Good luck to you!!!

Good luck! I have been trying for 3 months without luck..I was hoping to get a bfp like the first go around

Yeah, we all hope that. Then you get saddled with IF. You've got how many months to go? I wouldn't say you're infertile until you've had tests.

my doctor wants me to go back in august if i dont have a bfp

i want to go earlier as i have this dull ache in my left pelvic region for 2 weeks ( just like Mittelschmerz pain
