Do they check you if you are having a c-section?

If you know you are having a c-section do they bother checking you for dilation and effacement?

I've never been checked with my planned sections. I was checked with my son but only because I went into labour so they bought my section forward but I don't think they would normally check.

I was checked with both of my section babies (knew they were going to be CS bc breech and bicornuate uterus with no turning room), but I was also having tons of contractions. I haven't been checked yet with this one but they do monitor my cervical length with ultrasound.
