DS has only started getting hair cuts regularly the last few months as it took a long time for it to grow, even now it's still quite a babyish style and colour he looks like I did at that age but he will no doubt darken up as DH and I are both very dark haired but were blonde toddlers, anyway I digress, after his last hair cut his hair has felt very course and dry, it kinda makes it stick up easily when he sleeps on it...no big deal obviously lol, but I was just wondering if conditioning would help moisturise it a bit? But we only use Johnson's baby shampoo ATM and not sure if this is normal or strange behaviour to condition lol, my husband will think it strange...

Yes I pop my conditioner on my 4 yr olds ( it's really long ) about once every ten days, just on the ends x

I use a two in one shampoo and conditioner on Maria's hair (its a kids one)

I use a grownup good shampoo and contioner on megans hair - she is 4. I also use salon products after washing it to help with the snarls and to try to help her handle me combing it. I use an expensive kids shampoo on Jordan who has 1/4 inch of hair but sometimes just water and no conditioner yet.

Yep, I've been using conditioner on my LO's hair for quite a while. Definitely a necessity for curly hair like hers.

No i dont, she doesent need it. Johnsons baby shampoo is very drying and by no means gentle as it claims. Try swapping to another shampoo and only wash it twice a once or twice a week if you can.

Sometimes. Im still trying to figure out how to tame my daughters wild curls!

We don't use a conditioner at the moment - had been considering due to all her knots but found a great hairbrush to tackle them instead.

I'd try a gentler shampoo first and see what that does - I think johnsons can be drying to skin so stands to reason it could do same to hair (my hv said 9 times out of 10 she can get a baby's skin condition cleared up simply by telling mum to switch from johnsons - it's all the alcohol perfumes).

No, I don't use shampoo on her (or myself, for that matter), so no need to use conditioner.

Oh I'm jealous of the curls lol! Okie doke I shall switch from Johnson's, any recommendations? Should it still be child/baby specific?

We have Mustela & Everyday Shea shampoos for Omar, I use coconut oil as a conditioner.

Yes. And i would say change shampoo too, anything but johnsons. TBH i just use my normal shampoo on the girls now.

We use Cussons Mum and Me Baby shampoo and bath wash, I've heard Halo and Horns is good too.

Lo hair was quite dry at the end and I was using Johnson's till I was told it can make hair quite dry. After his dry ends were cut off I started using Asdas little angels shampoo and conditioner 2 in 1. His hair is in much better condition plus it's a lot cheaper to buy! X

Yup, I use an adult conditioner on DD1's frizzy hair as it is curly and she looks like a nutty professor without!

Yes, she has very long hair with ringlets so it really needs it. Any time I don't use it, it doesn't look right! I only wash her hair 2-3 times a week because it doesn't really get dirty, plus if it was washed every day, it would be too soft to stay in a ponytail/plait.

I use either the Johnson's baby leave in conditioner in the green tube, or the L'Oreal kids one. Sometimes I use a 2 in one shampoo and conditioner instead. If I'm using conditioner, it's after the Johnson's baby shampoo for light/blonde hair, the one with chamomile in it. Her hair is awful if I just use that shampoo on its own with no conditioner but beautiful if I use conditioner. For the 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioners, she has a couple of the L'Oreal ones, a couple of Avon ones and one of the Naked ones and they all seem to work really well xxx

Now that her hair is longer I do. The ends have turned into ringlet curls so if I don't use adult conditioner it turns into a frizzy, knotted mess.
