im having a few doubts today,i really want another child but im having doubts that im really ready,my husband is away on a fishing competition which is quite normal during the summer and i think i just might miss ovulation because of it,last month i went away because its not very often i go anywhere and i missed my dates then too,it just seems we spent too much time apart and if a baby comes along ill be here alone to raise him/her,ive spoken to him and he said he will be here 100% but has said he will never quit the fishing but will reduce it instead(its his only hobby-he doesnt drink),when our son was born he went away with work for 6 months and i was totally depressed with the demand of a colic baby and sleepless nights on my own he only went because we were stuck for money, maybe im just scared from what happed me before

I think that there are different ways that men are 'there for' their families, and though it was tough on you that DH was gone last time, he was there for you be providing the financial support that was such an essential. It can't have been easy for him being away either when he wanted to be with his family. Men feel that supporting the family by working hard and providing for you is their primary role, and TBH, I think he is a real gem for putting in that much effort then.

I do think perhaps you're afraid of it being the same, but you did cope then, and if it had to be done again, you'd cope again. aslong as you're now finncially sorted, you shouldnt have the same problem. As for him being away with fishing, hoefully it'd work both ways, and you'd also be able to have some 'you' time on a different weekend to get away with mates etc.

*hugs*

thank you its just taking sooo long now we are trying nearly 2 years and i have too much time to think when hes not here, your right he is a great supporter financially i suppose im lucky to have him xxx
