Do you have a 'theme' for your nursery stuff/baby things in general?

ours is winnie the pooh :)

I've bought some winnie the pooh receiving blankets, a beanie and booties, and a stuffed tigger. at walmart they have a stroller, carseat, bouncer, rocker, playpen, and crib sheets that all have same green with pooh characters print! can't wait to start stocking up :)

we like pooh because its gender neutral, so if we get all of the stroller and carseat and etc. we can use them for our future children if they're not the same sex, so we won't have to go and buy more. also pooh is classic and clean and cute without being too cutesy.. no offense to anyone who likes these characters, but we both agreed on no tinkerbell, disney princess, bob the builder, etc.. none of them.

also if it is a girl, we'll definitly buy some pink clothes and keepsakes and things, but we both agree we don't want an overwhelming amount of girly pink things.

ahh i love winie the pooh!that was gunna be my theme but fob didnt realy like the idea:(
i dont have a set theme but at the min most things seems to be i love my bear range in blue x

Our theme for the nursery was Winnie The Pooh also. But we did 3 walls in a gorgeous shade of pink and put Pooh character canvases on the walls as well as wall stickers and a Pooh border. As for theme in general its girly :) So if they told me the wrong gender I'm screwed haha. :) xx

ha thats awesome! that sucks that your OH didn't like the idea :( I think that bears in general are a great theme

I saw all kinds of great nursery decorations for pooh like wallart and borders and things like that.. too bad we won't really have a nursery, we'll be sharing a bedroom.. oh well. hopefully by the time next baby comes along we can afford a bigger place!

Yeah I did tropical animals/jungle type theme for most of his things!

We have a white theme atm. White moses basket, changing table, drawers, cot, linen... Because when we were having her we lived in a different place and didnt know where we would eventually live when she was born. I have a grey carseat for our car, a red travel system (with a red carseat for when we're in other peoples cars or taxis)... Colourful and bright toys and stuff.
I like mix and match really. I'm going for a sort of theme but original and homely in her nursery. Shall put pics up when its done.
I wanted the sleepy farm range and then the jungle chums range but in the end I decided on just going with the flow.

Most of her clothes etc are pink! As soon as my family and everyone found out they all bought pink lol.
We are doing like a bear theme, with cream/white etc & pink will be used for the picture frames etc.

We've mostly bought jungle/animal stuff, he has quite a bit from the precious planet range, and he has a safari themed moses basket =] xxx

ours WAS going to be winnie the pooh...i mentioned it to my brothers girlfriend (who is 2 months more pregnant than me) and all of a sudden out of nowhere their theme is winnie the pooh and i dont want them matching so we dont have one now

I started out with classic pooh theme, but we've changed to bugs for her nursery etc...no absolute clear cut theme for anything else.

x

We have got a beatrix potter nursery, peter rabbit and jemima puddle duck.... great gender neutral choice :)

I saw a gorgeous Flower Fairies clock earlier that reminded me how much I love them, so that may be the theme from now on!

emily's room is yellow & white

with winnie the pooh bits

Babys sharing a room with me but has its own lil corner of my room, all the cot bedding and accessories are winnie the pooh but iv also gone and done quite a few disney sketches to put up on the wall :) x

I think mines gonna be i love my bear stuff, or just general bear stuff cause its neutral. Mixed in with a little Ziggy zebra :)
xx
